Since being founded in 1954 Carter Manufacturing Company has been supplying precision metal stampings to a wide range of industries. Carters 60 years in business can be attributed to its commitment to the customer being the driving force, by delivering quality products with exemplary customer service. Utilizing in house design and precision tool making for compound, progressive, form and draw dies using state of the art machinery including Wire and Ram EDM along with CNC milling enables Carter to produce and maintain quality dies and to ensure on time deliveries.
Carter has progressed over the years with updated stamping presses and technologies to ensure parts can be consistently manufactured from stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, beryllium copper, phosphorus bronze, cold rolled steel, etc. and the latest exotic materials such as Kovar, Silver, and other alloys.
Carter has high speed Bruderer stamping presses varying in size from 30 to 170 tons giving us the versatility to produce parts ranging from small precision parts to large blanks or brackets. The in house capabilities for secondary and assembly operations also give Carter the edge over the competition by being able to deliver a complete finished part, saving downtime for our customers.
